Es ist ein sehr gut modifiziertes Playmates Tricorder Spielzeug, deshalb der Preis.
Ein sehr kleiner Kratzer auf dem Plastik zwischen den beiden roten Leds (kaum zu sehen, letztes Foto)

Playmates TNG Mark VII Science Tricorder with GMProps Lighting set and additional Door Lights added.
This is a modified playmates toy with a full GMProps electronics upgrade. In addition, the two lights in the door also illuminate when the tricorder is opened (the lighting effects and sound are activated by an internal reed switch when the unit is opened). This is a bit more work and not part of the standard electronics kit. Very unusual to find with this function.
This project was completed a while ago and involved stripping a brand new Playmates TNG Mark VII Science Tricorder to the bare bones. Then the shell was Cut and modified. New openings were made where necessary and a new battery door was fabricated. The circuit boards, LED’s and rechargeable battery supplied with the kit were installed and extra working LED’s were added to the opening door compartment. Finally all seams were filled and unwanted details removed and the whole shell given a new metallic finish protected by a clear satin lacquer. The replacement graphic decals were applied and additional details were fabricated and added where necessary. The whole project has been finished to a very high standard.
